How To Create Your
First Webinar Online
#GUIDES - 4 min read
If you are looking for an easy way to create your first webinar online, this little guide is for you.
A webinar is a presentation you make via internet, with the purpose to get more exposure and customers.
If well done, your business can literally explode.
A webinar is an art, but there is a simple process you can follow. Then, of course, practice is the only way to become better.
Write down the rough draft as you would speak live. Remember that you have a purpose: introducing your product/service and sell it.
Start by introducing yourself, who you are and what you do, then focus on one or more problems that your audience is facing (and you can solve) and ask some questions to make them aware they are actually facing them.
Talk about your product/service and show how it will solve their issue.
Add success stories of people satisfied with your product/service. If you don't have them yet, be clear on how you launch/promote that particular product/service (= to fill that need because there is nothing around like your product/service).
Stress the benefits your product/service will give them.
Recap what they got when they purchase right away, sometime adding some bonuses or discounts.
Mention the price.
If the case, give a further discount for the first people that will purchase or add more bonuses.
Add more positive feedback from people using your product/service. Stress again the benefits and the bonuses.
Be sure that they will able to pay right away, providing the proper options (links, buttons, customer service's email, live chat).
Close the presentation.
The content you prepared earlier will be the one you'll read during the presentation.
What people will see during the webinar will be different: you want to stress only the main concepts, so that all it becomes much more effective and people don't get distracted.
The easiest (and free) way to create your own slides, is using the Google Slides tool.
How many slides should you prepare? On average, around 100.
Just keep in mind that a webinar should last at least 20-30 minutes to be effective and complete, but most of the time is around 60 minutes.
There are many tools, paid and free, you can use to record your webinar.
One of the easiest and cheapest I found is Screencast-o-matic, a tool that allows you to record your slides and your voice very easily.
The Pro version is more complete, and I suggest you to go with it, if you want to have full control, edit, draw, zoom and so on. It's around $15/year, very affordable. If you want to go with the free version, bear in mind that you have up to 15 minutes available for your webinar.
You can now start recording your slides (full screen) and record your voice. When you're done, you can watch your video and edit it.
When you are ok, download and save your brand new video on your computer.
Webinars offer the highest level of automation and if your business is worldwide, is a must have. When you automate the webinar process, you do the work once and it lasts forever ...
